	I have always been fascinated with the spiritual traditions practiced by the Huna’s of Hawaii. Pila’s book, The Secrets and Mysteries of Hawaii so inspired me that I traveled to Hawaii where I visited many of the sacred sites he writes about. It’s a must buy for anyone who wants to understand the culture and faith of the Hawaiian people. Concurrently, it is the inspiring story of a decorated Vietnam veteran who went to Hawaii to heal and in the process discovered his life purpose. 	Split Ends, multitalented writer Beth Rubin’s first novel, touches a readers funny bone, and in the process, their heart and spirit. A must read for anyone who has suffered the agony and growth of divorce! Beware. If you read her book in public, everyone will wonder why you’re crying and laughing at the same time. Make them buy their own copy!
