The Law of Distraction and Interruption TM

Life’s Distractions, if you allow them, will keep you from achieving your goals and dreams.
Interruptions either slow you down or completely stop you from implementing what you set out to accomplish.

WomanTalk Live is co-hosted by the lively duo of Ginny Robertson and Ann Quasman. It just so happens that Ginny and Ann have been friends for 10+ years…and, one day, they said, “Let’s have a radio show.” And, four days later, they were well on their way to co-hosting their own weekly radio show in Baltimore focusing on woman “stuff” (but, men can listen, too.)

Always educational and informational, and sometimes, lots of fun….join Ginny and Ann on WomanTalk Live.

Looking for some good news? Author and inspirational speaker Bill Bailey is the "Good News Newsman." His marvelous site shares inspiring stories about the events and people that are making the world a better place. In November, his first book in a series will be released: The Best of Us: 50 Inspiring People Who Are Making The World a Better Place. Jeanne is honored that she and I Am Happier to Know You will be featured in the first edition.

My friends Raed and Kim handled all the details of my first visit to Egypt as a tourist. Their tour company continues to provide their expertise and assistance each time I travel within Egypt. Their staff will serve as your Guardian Angels before and after you arrive. They’ll pick you up at the airport, take you through customs, retrieve your luggage and deliver you to your hotel (which they’ve booked for you based upon your specifications).

Their guides, who are Egyptologist, will not only escort you to every site you want to visit, they'll bring their history alive and share a myriad of information on Egypt: Egypt facts, Egypt culture and Egypt people. . They’re professional, honest and dependable. Be sure to take a peek at their website that offers a luxury Nile cruise on their private boat. Kim spent months filling it with thoughtful amenities for the Western visitor.

If you're an expatriate (expat), be sure to subscribe to the Expat Focus Newsletter for monthly tips and information about living abroad and indepth information about the country you're been reassigned to. Rod Morris does a great job of making your life easier! Look for the sections I wrote filled with a cornucopia of information on Egypt including: Egypt fact, Egypt culture and Egypt people!

I have always been fascinated with the spiritual traditions practiced by the Huna’s of Hawaii. Pila’s book, The Secrets and Mysteries of Hawaii so inspired me that I traveled to Hawaii where I visited many of the sacred sites he writes about. It’s a must buy for anyone who wants to understand the culture and faith of the Hawaiian people. Concurrently, it is the inspiring story of a decorated Vietnam veteran who went to Hawaii to heal and in the process discovered his life purpose. Be sure to visit his website to read about his other work.

Split Ends, multitalented writer Beth Rubin’s first novel, touches a readers funny bone, and in the process, their heart and spirit. A must read for anyone who has suffered the agony and growth of divorce! Beware. If you read her book in public, everyone will wonder why you’re crying and laughing at the same time. Make them buy their own copy!

After 30 impressive years in the banking industry, Katherine Dewitt, CSA is available to share her wealth of experience with individual clients. She specializes in working with senior citizens and the disabled or handicapped to manage their personal affairs and retain their financial independence, but she doesn’t stop there. She’s also available to work with entrepreneurs, “heavy travelers” and busy professionals who need her assistance. If you’re looking for a banker with a heart, Kate’s it!

For those looking for the best cover for their book, Peri Poloni of Knockout Design is an amazing resource. She did mine. I called her from Egypt and told her about my book and what I wanted the cover to convey. She listened. What came back was exactly the look and feel I envisioned. She does a knockout job!

Enter The Net specializes in internet marketing consultancy. Based in Portland, Oregon, this new company helps sites perform on search engines. Rob Patton of Enter The Net is handling my website updates and the marketing of this website. If you're a bit confused about why some text on my website seems odd, it's because in order to receive as many hits as possible, Rob researched and then chose the most common keywords used to bring people here. So, while I'd rather write: "Egyptian culture, Egyptian facts, and Egyptian people," his research has indicated that: "Egypt fact, Egypt culture and Egypt people" works better. He can help you increase your exposure, too!
